The Event

Live to 9 is Cedar Falls' beloved free outdoor concert series, bringing live music to the heart of downtown every Friday evening throughout the summer. Held at River Place Plaza at the corner of 2nd and State Street, the event draws hundreds of music lovers, families, and neighbors who gather to enjoy local and regional talent against the backdrop of the Cedar River corridor.

The Details

The name says it all — the music runs from 6 to 9 PM, giving everyone a reason to stay downtown a little later. Gates open at 5:30 PM, food and beverages are available on site, and there's never a cover charge. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and make yourself at home.
